SNAP Benefits to Stop on 11/1/2025
More than 454,000 Minnesotans rely on SNAP benefits, including many of the children we serve. Due to the government shutdown, starting Saturday these families will not receive this food support.
Regardless of the government shutdown, Every Meal continues our commitment to the children in our community – children who are now facing an even bigger Weekend Food Gap.
Because of the generosity of our community, our Weekend Meal Program continues at approximately 375 schools across Minnesota.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:
💚 Donate: To Every Meal or your local food shelf. We can stretch those dollars further and buy more food than you’d buy at a grocery store.
🙌 Volunteer: at Every Meal packing food bags, building orders, cleaning the warehouse, and more. Or volunteer at your local food shelf, which is likely getting an influx of visitors.
