Every week during the school year, hundreds of volunteers place Every Meal food bags in children’s backpacks as part of our Weekend Meal Program. These volunteers have a hands-on, direct impact on children living with food insecurity by consistently and reliably distributing food every week at our partner schools throughout Minnesota.
FOOD BAG DISTRIBUTION VOLUNTEER

- Discreetly placing food bags directly in children’s backpacks or lockers
- Dedicating 1-2 hours on Thursday or Friday while children are in school
- Volunteering at the same school each week
- Receiving training and guidance along the way
(Please note: You must be 18 or older and able to lift up to 35 lbs.)
