The Sheridan Story Launches First Summer Program

Friends,

This is turning out to be an incredible school year – our impact on child hunger has grown monumentally. We will end this school year working in 40 schools serving some 2400 children – more data to come on the amount of food distributed!

As we wrap up this school year, our current efforts are also in implementing our first summer program. We will provide food this summer to over 500 kids that attend 9 Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) Migrant Education summer schools. These schools are located throughout greater Minnesota and serve children of short-term migrant farmworkers.

Donate today to help provide children with nutritious food this summer.

While we are working closely in partnership with MDE, our effort to serve these kids, as with all of our programs, includes no government funding. The cost to implement this summer program is approximately $16,530 –  help change the story of child hunger for these kids this summer by giving a financial contribution today.

Thank you for your support and heart for these kids. Your partnership is crucial in our ability to serve the kids in our state.

Sincerely,

Rob Williams
