With your partnership, our impact continues to multiply

Friends,

I was talking the other day to a principal at one of our participating schools. He shared, “The kids your program serves in our school – they are a lot calmer on Fridays now that they know they will have food for the weekend. It’s been great to see the impact the food makes beyond just alleviating the feeling of hunger!”

You made it possible – through your prayers, donations and time – for The Sheridan Story to serve the students at this school and many other schools.

I’m excited to share that The Sheridan Story continues to expand our impact throughout the Twin Cities.

So far this school year, compared to this point last school year:

  • 85,871 meals – 478% increase
  • 1,900 children – 543% increase
  • 34 schools – 425% increase

We’ve seen amazing growth and are fortunate to reach the kids we do today!

Moving forward, we are continuing to work to increase our impact on child hunger by expanding The Sheridan Story to reach more children in more schools. There is more to be done.

We can’t do any of this without your continued support. I ask that you take a look at the “Ways to fight child hunger” column in this email to see if there are ways in which you can partner further.

Thank you for partnership in supporting the kids in our community.

Sincerely,

Rob Williams
Executive Director

Financial support from individuals, companies, faith communities, etc. is incredibly important as we serve the kids.

Food drive / Fundraiser
Your church, office, club, etc. can hold a food drive and/or fundraiser to both raise awareness about the issue and support our mission.

Partnerships
Know of a community group that may want to sponsor a school? Sponsors are one of the most important components of our programs.

Sustaining Partner
