Volunteers are the mac to our cheese

For National Volunteer Week this year, we’re serving up extra gratitude for our volunteers. If we had to sum up our love in entree form, here’s what we’d say…

Volunteers are the mac to our cheese.

The coconut milk to our curry. 

The chicken to our rice.

In other words, the perfect pair to our mission of fighting child hunger.

Whether it’s packing food, building orders, making deliveries, distributing food bags, or supporting behind the scenes, volunteers complete the meal. Seriously, we couldn’t do what we do without volunteers – we see you!

And just like every good meal needs the right layers, we’re lucky to have Barbara Fritz (Senior Volunteer Coordinator) and Liam Green (Volunteer Coordinator) keeping our volunteer programs and projects running smoothly.

Your roles fill different needs, but your impact is united. Because of your gifts of time and talent, nearly 12,000 kids return to school on Mondays with full bellies and ready minds.
