Volunteer Spotlight: Warehouse Volunteer Sally
We’ve added new volunteer roles to help keep our Every Meal warehouse in Roseville clean and tidy! Sweeping floors, helping remove trash, dusting equipment and racking, or even using our fancy scrubbing machine to keep the floors shiny – these are some of the ways Warehouse Volunteers help keep our operations moving efficiently and safely. Plus, it’s a great way to get your steps in while supporting our mission to fight child hunger.
Sally is one of the first to step into our new Warehouse Volunteer roles. Volunteers like her are a great example of the many ways you can support Every Meal in a way that meet your schedule. Hear directly from Sally and what inspires her to keep coming back in the first place by clicking the video below.

Q: What’s your name and your volunteer role at Every Meal?
Hi, I’m Sally and I’m volunteering today at Every Meal helping with cleaning up the warehouse.
Q: What other ways have you volunteered with Every Meal?
I’ve also packed up leaflets to go to schools. And I’ve done packing. I’ve done a little construction this summer. So there are lots of different things you can do for Every Meal. And it’s a really easy place to volunteer because you get to pick your times, and you don’t have to commit to a set schedule, which is hard for me.
Q: What do you like about Every Meal’s mission?
I believe that every kid is our kid. My children went to public school in St. Paul, and they were lucky. They had everything they needed, but not every kid in their school did. So I could see first-hand those struggling families. People who needed help. And I’m delighted to be a able to do something.
