Last month, Jana Shortal asked KARE 11 viewers to join her in supporting Every Meal during the Breaking the News segment. Within minutes, Minnesotans responded and helped raise over $42,000 in just over one day. That is enough money to provide 130 kids with a food bag each Friday for the whole school year.
