Christa joined Every Meal in July 2026 after 16 years feeding youth and their families through camps, hospitals, AmeriCorp Cooking Matters and federal meal programs. She moved to the Twin Cities after getting a bachelor’s in Dietetics from Iowa State University. Her focus has been eliminating barriers to delicious, nutritious, and relevant meals for youth and their families. She joined Every Meal after years of partnership excited to collaborate with new and existing partners while continuing to feed youth in Minnesota. Christa is motivated to build connections, feed and invest in community while sharing her values of food justice and equity. She believes the food we provide has impact and intention with those we serve.

Christa lives in NE Minneapolis with her family and dog. When she’s not focused on serving community and neighbors you can find her outside in every season whether she’s gardening, biking, hiking, paddle boarding, grabbing a dish of ice cream or creating memories with her family.
